For the purposes of these terms and conditions, Disco Party UK is referred to as “DPUK.”
1. Booking & Administration Fee
A non-refundable administration fee is required to secure your selected date and time.
This fee covers initial planning and setup and is deducted from the total hire cost.
2. Payment of Balance
The remaining balance may be paid by cash, credit/debit card, PayPal, or BACS.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations more than one calendar month before the event: No further fee payable.
Cancellations within one month: 50% of the full fee is payable.
Cancellations within 7 days: 100% of the full fee is payable. (Exemptions may apply.)
4. Venue Access
Adequate access must be provided at least 1 hour before and 30 minutes after the event for setup and pack-down.
5. Damage or Loss
The hirer is responsible for any damage to, or loss of, DPUK equipment caused by attendees.
A verbal estimate will be given at the event, followed by a formal invoice within 14 days.
6. Power Requirements
The venue must provide two standard 240V 13A sockets.
Inadequate power supply may result in a reduction of equipment or cancellation of the event without refund.
7. Interruption
If the venue management cuts the event short, no refund will be issued as it is beyond DPUK's control.
In the rare case of terminal equipment failure, a partial refund will be issued based on remaining time.
8. Safety & Conduct
DPUK reserves the right to stop the event if there is:
Threat to the safety of staff, equipment, or attendees.
Physical or verbal abuse directed at DPUK staff.
9. Venue Restrictions
DPUK does not perform at house parties, private residences, or upstairs venues without a working lift.
10. Overruns
If the event continues beyond the agreed time (with approval), an additional agreed charge will apply.
11. Photography & Video
DPuk may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes.
Children will NOT be photographed.
Please inform DPUK at the start of the event if you wish for specific individuals not to be recorded.
All media remain copyright of DPUK.
12. Advertising & Promotion
The hirer must contact DPUK for permission if using any Disco Party UK name/logo in promotional material.
13. Web & Social Media Use
DPUK may mention or link to event-related websites on our platforms unless instructed otherwise by the hirer.
14. Space Requirements
DPUK requires a minimum setup area of 2.5m deep x 3m wide.
Please ensure sufficient space if other entertainment is booked.
15. Age Requirements
The hirer must be 18 years or older.
If under 18, an adult must sign the contract and accept full responsibility.
16. Licensing
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the venue holds all relevant entertainment licences.
17. Insurance & Liability
DPUK holds £5 million Public Liability Insurance.
This insurance covers accidents caused directly by DPUK equipment or actions — it does not cover incidents caused by venue, guests, or other vendors.
18. Use of Special Effects
Confetti, Bubble and haze machines are available at no extra cost.
The Snow Foam Machine & UV lighting is available at an additional cost.
The hirer is responsible for confirming whether the venue allows these effects.
DPUK accepts no liability for fines or charges from unauthorised use.
19. Additional Entertainment
If booking additional entertainment (e.g. band, singer), please ensure the venue can accommodate both.
DPUK requires a minimum space of 2.5m x 3m.
Other entertainers are not permitted to use DPUK equipment
unless agreed in writing for insurance reasons.
20. Agreement
Engaging DPUK services in any form constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

If government regulations prevent your event from going ahead, you may reschedule at any time in the future for the same quoted price — no additional admin fee required.
