Terms & Conditions
For the purposes of the following Terms & Conditions, Wedding Disco Party is abbreviated as WDP.

1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable administration fee of £100.00 is required to cover initial costs and secure your selected date and time. This fee is deducted from the total hire cost. The remaining balance must be paid in full via cash, credit/debit card, PayPal, or BACS no later than one calendar month prior to your event.

 

2. Event Duration & Timing
WDP provides up to five hours of entertainment, finishing no later than midnight. If additional time is required, it must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional charge.

 

3. Cancellations
Cancellations more than two months before the event: No additional fee due.

Cancellations between one and two months before the event: 50% of the agreed fee is payable.

Cancellations less than one month before the event: 100% of the agreed fee is payable.
(Exemptions may apply in exceptional circumstances.)

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

 

4. Venue Access
The hirer must ensure adequate access time before and after the event for the setup and removal of equipment. Exact times will vary depending on the venue.

 

5. Equipment Damage & Loss
The hirer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of WDP equipment caused by attendees. An estimate will be provided on the day, with a full invoice sent within 14 days.

 

6. Power Requirements
The venue must provide at least two standard 240v 13-amp power sockets. If the power supply is insufficient, WDP reserves the right to reduce equipment usage or cancel the booking without refund.

 

7. Early Termination by Venue
If the venue ends the event earlier than agreed, no refund will be given as this is beyond WDP’s control.

 

8. Safety & Conduct
WDP reserves the right to terminate the event immediately if the safety of our staff, equipment, or guests is at risk. This includes verbal or physical abuse toward staff. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.

 

9. Equipment Failure
In the rare event of equipment failure due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, a partial refund will be offered, proportionate to the time lost.

 

10. Overtime
Any extension of the event’s end time must be agreed in advance with WDP and the venue, and will incur an additional charge.

11. Photography & Media
WDP may take photographs or videos during the event for promotional use. We will not photograph anyone under 16. Please inform us in advance if there are guests who do not wish to be photographed. All media remains the copyright of WDP.

 

12. Promotional Use
If the event is promoted or advertised using the WDP name, logo, or brand, written permission is required.

 

13. Website & Social Media
WDP may include links or references to the hirer’s business or event on our website/social media. Please let us know if you do not wish to be featured.

 

14. Additional Entertainment
If booking additional entertainment (e.g. band, singer), please ensure the venue can accommodate both. WDP requires a minimum space of 2.5m x 3m. Other entertainers are not permitted to use WDP equipment unless agreed in writing for insurance reasons.

 

15. Age of Hirer
The hirer must be 18 years or older. If under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the agreement and accept full responsibility.

 

16. Venue Licensing
The hirer must ensure the venue has all relevant entertainment licenses. WDP is not liable for any issues arising from unlicensed venues.

 

17. Public Liability Insurance
WDP holds £10 million public liability insurance. This covers accidents involving our equipment or staff actions only. It does not cover incidents caused by the venue, guests, or other suppliers.

 

18. Venue Restrictions
Due to the size and weight of our equipment, we cannot perform at venues located upstairs unless there is a fully operational lift.

19. Acceptance of Terms
Engaging our services by any means constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Government Restrictions (e.g. Pandemics)
If government regulations prevent your event from going ahead, you may reschedule at any time in the future for the same quoted price — no additional admin fee required.
