For the purposes of these terms and conditions, Kids Disco Party is referred to as “KDP.”

1. Booking & Administration Fee
A £30 non-refundable administration fee is required to secure your selected date and time.

This fee covers initial planning and setup and is deducted from the total hire cost.

2. Payment of Balance
The remaining balance may be paid by cash, credit/debit card, PayPal, or BACS.

​

3. Cancellations
Cancellations more than one calendar month before the event: No further fee payable.

Cancellations within one month: 50% of the full fee is payable.

Cancellations within 7 days: 100% of the full fee is payable. (Exemptions may apply.)

4. Venue Access
Adequate access must be provided at least 1 hour before and 30 minutes after the event for setup and pack-down.

5. Damage or Loss
The hirer is responsible for any damage to, or loss of, KDP equipment caused by attendees.

A verbal estimate will be given at the event, followed by a formal invoice within 14 days.

 

6. Power Requirements
The venue must provide two standard 240V 13A sockets.

Inadequate power supply may result in a reduction of equipment or cancellation of the event without refund.

 

7. Venue Interruption
If the venue management cuts the event short, no refund will be issued as it is beyond KDP's control.

 

8. Safety & Conduct
KDP reserves the right to stop the event if there is:

Threat to the safety of staff, equipment, or attendees.

Physical or verbal abuse directed at KDP staff.

In case of equipment failure not caused by the hirer or venue, a partial refund will be issued based on remaining time.

 

9. Venue Restrictions
KDP does not perform at house parties, private residences, or upstairs venues without a working lift.

 

10. Overruns
If the event continues beyond the agreed time (with approval), an additional charge will apply.

 

11. Photography & Video
KDP may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes.

Children under 16 will not be photographed.

Please inform KDP at the start of the event if you wish for specific individuals not to be recorded.

All media remain copyright of KDP.

 

12. Advertising & Promotion
The hirer must contact KDP for permission if using the KDP name/logo in any promotional material.

 

13. Web & Social Media Use
KDP may mention or link to event-related websites on our platforms unless instructed otherwise by the hirer.

 

14. Space Requirements
KDP requires a minimum setup area of 2.5m deep x 3m wide.

Please ensure sufficient space if other entertainment is booked.

 

15. Age Requirements
The hirer must be 18 years or older.

If under 18, an adult must sign the contract and accept full responsibility.

 

16. Licensing
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the venue holds all relevant entertainment licences.

 

17. Insurance & Liability
KDP holds £10 million Public Liability Insurance.

This insurance covers accidents caused directly by KDP equipment or actions — it does not cover incidents caused by venue, guests, or other vendors.

 

18. Use of Special Effects
Bubble and haze machines are available at no extra cost.

The hirer must confirm in advance whether the venue allows these effects.

KDP accepts no liability for fines or charges from unauthorised use.

 

19. Agreement
Engaging KDP services in any form constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

 

🔒 Government Restrictions (e.g. Pandemics)
If government regulations prevent your event from going ahead, you may reschedule at any time in the future for the same quoted price — no additional admin fee required.
